Granite

Granite is a type of igneous rock that is formed from the slow cooling and solidification of magma or lava. It is composed primarily of quartz, feldspar, and mica, and is known for its distinctive color and grain patterns.

In Pakistan, granite is mostly found in the northern areas of Pakistan, including the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Gilgit-Baltistan. The granite deposits are mostly found in the areas of Chitral, Swat, and Hunza.
